Maria, R.D.H. (Hygienist)

Maria is one of Dr. Swenda’s hygienists. With nearly twenty-five years of dental experience, Maria is ever mindful of her patient’s oral hygiene and periodontal condition, and places the patient’s needs first.  Her gentle and caring attitude is a tremendous asset to our dental practice.

A dental assistant for eighteen years, Maria furthered her education and has never looked back.

Maria is a lifelong resident of Delaware County where she lives with her husband, three lovely children and dog. She loves spending time with her family, working out and reading.

Elaine, R.D.H. (Hygienist)

Elaine is Dr. Swenda’s longtime dental hygienist. Working side-by-side with Dr. Swenda for over twenty-two years, Elaine is an extremely skilled, talented, and dedicated hygienist. Her goal is to provide patient comfort while achieving overall dental health.

Elaine spends her leisure time with family, or on a court pursuing her other passion – tennis!

Terry, R.N.  (Front Desk Patient Coordinator)

The first and last person you will meet when coming to our office is Terry. Terry has been with Dr. Swenda since 1998 and is in charge of answering the phone, scheduling appointments, filing patients' insurance when needed, and handling the finances in our office. Terry works very hard to make sure that our patients understand their financial obligations before making an appointment.

A registered nurse, Terry graduated from Gynedd-Mercy College and worked for Lankenau Hospital in pediatrics.

Terry is married and enjoys watching her two beautiful granddaughters.

Patty, Licensed Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Patty has been Dr. Swenda’s lead dental assistant since 1992. With over twenty years experience as an expanded function dental assistant, Patty is ever mindful of her patient's comfort. She is involved with Harcum College as a dental advisor on their Board. She is also a member of the Dental Assistant National Board (DANB).

Patty

Patty lives with her husband and two great kids.  Her favorite things to do are to take walks with their black lab, sit on the beach with a good book, and to get together with family and friends.

Lori, Dental Aide

Lori is our aide behind the scenes who performs vital duties throughout the office. Lori most enjoys meeting new patients, learning about their families, and welcoming them to our dental family.
